HTIP was built from twenty-nine years of doing this work. It reflects how healthcare technology planning, assessment and investment decisions are actually made — and where, repeatedly, they cost more time and money than they should.
A message from the founder
Over nearly three decades working in healthcare technology, I have seen the field change significantly. Healthcare technologies have become more advanced and interconnected, projects have become larger and more complex, data has multiplied, and expectations around cost, performance, accountability and speed of decision-making have increased.
Today, with AI and rapidly advancing digital technologies changing how industries work, I believe healthcare technology planning and management must evolve with the same pace.
My experience has taken me across major and mega healthcare projects supporting national transformation programmes and long-term development visions, existing healthcare facilities and operations, as well as international healthcare needs assessments delivered through NGO and development programmes.
Across different countries and health systems, I repeatedly encountered one challenge: organisations often have much of the information needed to make better technology decisions, but it remains fragmented across systems, documents and teams. Turning that evidence into defensible decisions still requires considerable professional time and is often repeated from project to project.
HTIP grew from that experience.
HTIP is being developed as a modular, AI-assisted B2B SaaS platform to make healthcare technology planning, needs assessment, performance and investment decisions more connected, efficient and traceable.
HTIP currently brings together four focused modules across two areas of healthcare technology intelligence:
Planning Intelligence
- MEPI — medical equipment planning for new healthcare facilities and major developments.
- MENI — medical equipment needs assessment for existing facilities.
Operational Intelligence
- CTI — analysis of major clinical procedures and technology performance.
- CEI — capital equipment lifecycle and investment intelligence.
Each module addresses a distinct process and can stand independently or work with other modules as part of the wider HTIP platform.
The longer-term vision extends beyond medical equipment across healthcare engineering technologies.
As HTIP moves towards pilot validation and market launch, I welcome conversations with healthcare organisations, software and HealthTech partners, and investors interested in helping take individual modules or the wider platform forward.
The technology has changed. The expectations have changed. The way we plan, manage and make decisions about healthcare technology must evolve too.

Where HTIP stands
HTIP is pre-launch.
The core healthcare-domain foundation, governed workflows, professional logic, evidence structures and outputs are established. Commercial completion continues — further automation, governed AI enablement, production integrations, security and tenancy controls, pilot validation and deployment readiness.
